Who we are: St Mary’s Children Centre is not-for-profit. We offer exciting play-based programs, while focusing on Christian values that enable children to develop an understanding of the richness of life through the saving grace and love of Jesus Christ.

Operating hours: From Monday to Friday from 7am to 6:30pm

Rooms:

Babies: 6 months to 24 months

Our babies will be cared for by experienced and loving educators. Their safety and individual needs will be at the forefront of our program. While supporting their growth and development, we will provide activities that offer exploration of the world around them. We will work closely with each family to ensure each child is happy, thriving and loving their time at the Centre.

Pre-kinder: 2 years to 3.5 years

This is an exciting time, when a child is full of energy and sharing laughter with those around them. This is why we will provide plenty of opportunities for the child to continue their growth and development. We will continue supporting social and communications skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive abilities, through inquiry-based activities. This in addition to supporting physical skills, coordination and balance, as we also foster a sense of belonging, explore our diversity and the so many new things a child discovers in their world.

Kinder: 3 years and older

This is the time when each child turns into a successful young champion, capable of expressing themselves, negotiating deals, connecting to others and the world around them. They become more independent, make the right decisions, care for themselves and look after those around them. They will be the engineer, actor, athlete, scientist, teacher, builder, and everything else they want to be in the Centre. We will just be happy scaffolding their learning through play, intentional teaching, and fun projects, every day, all year long.
